The holiday season is here in Los Angeles and you’ll see the Christmas décor everywhere you go in Southern California. We enjoy all the holidays, and it’s hard not to be drawn in by the Christmas spirit. It’s always fun to go around town and look at some of the best holiday light displays. Here are some we are looking forward to in 2022:
Lightscape
LA Arboretum • Through January 8
We mentioned this one previously on The Durkovic Group blog, but it’s worth highlighting again if you haven’t had a chance to visit it yet. Lightscape returns to the LA Arboretum this year with an incredible light display intertwined with the natural setting along a mile-long path through the arboretum. Learn more and get tickets.
Enchanted Forest of Light
Descanso Gardens • Through January 8
Another great naturally inspired light display is the annual Enchanted Forest of Light at Descanso Gardens in La Cañada Flintridge. Be sure to check out the amazing stained glass and light display featured in the Rose Garden, designed by contemporary sculptor, Tom Fruin. There are many unique displays to see here, so don’t miss out! Learn more and get tickets.
Candy Cane Lane
Woodland Hills • Through December 31
No Los Angeles holiday light tour would be complete without a trip to Candy Cane Lane. Every year, residents of this Woodland Hills neighborhood put together dazzling displays of Christmas lights and music. It is located on the intersection of Lubao and Oxnard Streets. This is purely a volunteer effort in a residential community, so please be respectful. Residents asks you drive by no later than 10pm on weekdays and 11pm on weekends. Please dim your headlights to help all drivers and pedestrians enjoy the full experience. Learn more.
Holiday Road
Calabasas • Through December 30
This is a family-friendly walking experience at King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas. You will walk through some incredible holiday light displays and interactive experiences. Learn more and get tickets.

This is another one we mentioned before, but you won’t be disappointed by this annual holiday light extravaganza at the LA Zoo. They stay open later throughout the season and the entire park is lit up with animal-themed lights and interactive elements. Learn more and get tickets.
