The Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts is a non-profit organization that raises money for annual music programs plus award gifts and grants to other non-profit organizations that provide music programs. The organization has raised over $23 million in donations to date. In order to be considered as a potential candidate, the home must be over 9000 square feet, on at least two acres of property, contain two staircases, and be easily accessible to the public. The 2018 Pasadena Showcase House is a 1915 Mediterranean Estate in Altadena known as “Overlook” that was originally designed by architect, Reginald Davis Johnson and built for $14,000. The showcase house will be available for public viewing April 22-May 20 and tickets are available for purchase online by visiting PasadenaShowcase.org.

Tim Durkovic, President of The Durkovic Group, was the listing agent of the Pasadena Showcase House in 2016 and is a concert pianist who performs both nationally and internationally. Needless to say, he holds the Arts very closely to his heart.

The city of La Cañada Flintridge has it’s own annual home tour. The 32nd Annual Spring Home Tour will be held April 27, 2018 and proceeds will directly fund La Cañada High School programs. Attendees can expect to tour 4 homes followed by an evening reception at a 5th home. Also, an all-day marketplace will be open in the garden of a local home.
