Though Pride Month will always be rooted in celebrating cultural pride within the LGBTQ+ community, it has evolved into so much more throughout the years. This is a month that allows us to celebrate diversity in all walks of life. We are all free to be who we are and June Pride Month is a wonderful reminder of this fact. As proud members of the community ourselves, we are always happy to recognize the important of June Pride Month.

Many people took part in the LA Pride Parade, LA Pride in the Park, the LA Pride Block Party and other events this past weekend. In case you missed it or are looking for other opportunities to take part in additional events throughout Los Angeles, there are still a lot of great gatherings coming up the rest of this month. Here are a few worth checking out:

Pride Night at Dodger Stadium
June 14

LGBTQ+ Pride Night is an annual event at Dodger Stadium. There will be a Pride Party in the Center Field Plaza starting at 5:00 before the game, and all sorts of other activities and giveaways throughout the game that night. Learn more.

Pride is Universal
June 15

Universal Studios Hollywood also has their own Pride is Universal celebration on June 15. After you enjoy a day at the theme park, you can stick around for an epic after-hours party with DJs, dancing drinks and other exclusive experiences. Learn more.

Pride Night at Cinespia
June 22

Cinespia will be hosting its annual Pride Night screening at Hollywood Forever Cemetary. This year, they will be showing the cult classic “D.E.B.S.” In addition to the movie, you can enjoy a picnic setting, DJ dance party, free photo booth, drinks and more. Learn more.

Friday Films: LGBTQ+ Pride Month

The Little Tokyo Branch Library will be hosting a special screening of the comedy movie “Bros” as part of their Friday Films series. Learn more.

Pride Month: Art in the Style of Keith Haring
June 17

The LA County Library has many events and activities throughout Pride Month. Art fans will want to check out this interactive workshop at Florence Library. Attendees will get a chance to explore their own creativity and artistic flair by practicing art inspired by Keith Haring, a legendary LGBTQ+ artist known for his distinctive and colorful artistic style.
