Welcome to Spotlight. I’m Tim Durkovic, president of the Durkovic Group and luxury real estate specialist with Douglas Elliman Real Estate. Each month, I will bring you quick insights and tips experts use to create a feeling of luxury in their environments.
One of the missions of the Durkovich Group is giving back to the community, and we do so by hosting several community events each year. For this month’s spotlight, I’d like to highlight the three events we have planned this year so that you can start keeping an eye for them and get them on your calendars now. The first event is coming up soon — on Saturday, April 13th from 8 am to 10 am in Brookside Park at the Rose Bowl, next to the Kids’ Space Museum, we will be hosting our first annual Easter Egg hunt. The park will open at 8 am and egg hunts for all ages will begin at 8:45. We will even have an adult egg hunt featuring the coveted gold, silver and bronze eggs with special prizes. The Easter bunny will be there, we will have face painting and sidewalk chalk for the kids, and donuts, coffee and hot chocolate will be available to purchase from the popular food truck, Hustle and Dough. Bring your families, your friends, and anyone who you think I should meet. Then, keep an eye out for our annual summer event, Mid-summer Night Screen, an outdoor movie night in the park which will be held at the Bandshell in Memorial Park in Pasadena. And then finally, in the fall, we will host our third annual food drive and pumpkin patch to benefit one of our favorite charities, Union Station Homeless Services, where all of our food collections will go to help them with their annual Thanksgiving feast.
Don’t forget, our first one is coming up soon: Saturday, April 13th, from 8 to 10 in the morning, Brookside Park at the Rose Bowl – our annual Easter Egg Hunt. I look forward to seeing you all there!
